- The seüsou has opened with pleuty of work for mechauics, and promises to be the most active oue for building that has occurred in manj' years. Iinprovements are ueing made in all parts of the city. A large nuraber of new buildings are already in progress of construction, and maay more in contemplation. A seiircity of mechanica exists and considerable difliculty is experienced in obtaining a suillcient numbei for present wants, although mauy are arriving from other localities. Mrs. ïenney, frame house on South University Avenue, about 12,000. Mrs. Coe, frame house on south side of Univeisity Squaie, about Y2,000. Jas. M.
