The 99 th anniversary of Amencau Iudependence will be obaerved with a grand celebratiou at Ann Albor, Moiiday, July óth, by a spleudid military and civic display. PEÜC1EAMMK. The day will be ushered in with a national salute at sunrise. At 10 o'clock a. m., the prooession will form at the Court House Square, cousisting of Gwinuer's Band, Company H, Ypsilanti Light Guaids, Uompuny E, Tecumseh Zouaves, Sarsüeld Guards, of Detroit, Compaüy D, Adrián Light Guarda, Coinpauy C, National Guarda, of Detroit, Peninsulars of ijay City, Conipauy B, of Ann Arbor, Ladies and Gentlemen ou horse back, Washteuaw (Jounty Pioneer Society, Grangers in Regalia, Masons, üdd Fellows, Firenieu, Good Templars, St. Lawrence Benevolent Society, German Workingmeu s Society, Schuotzenbund, Ann Arlior Mieuuerchor, Scio Maiunerchor, Turn Verein, Uomnion Council, Oliicers of the day iu carriagea, other organizations, and citizens. The proces8ion will march through the principal streets and return to the Court House square, where the Declaration of Independeuce wiil be read by Prof. H. B. Hutchins ; after which au oration will be delivered by Hou Jas. B. Angelí, President of the Uuiversity] During the exerciaes Patriotic Songs, by a chorus oí 50 voices, under the direction of Alvin Wilsey, Teactier of Music in the Anu Arbor Public Schools. Alter the exercises, there will be a grand dress parade by the military compames ; and a review of the military by Gov. Bagley and staff. The Germán Workingmen's Society will ïold a picnic aud dance, with amusements of 11 kinds, afternoon and evening, at Belief Jark, to which all are cordially invited. The Father Matthew Temperance Society, rom Detroit, will hold a picnic at Turner ark in the aiternoon. A splendid display of fireworks will take ace iu the evening. OFFICEBS OF THE DAY.
