An Ordinance to Prevent Slavghler Houset witlnn the City Li mits. Section 1. Be It ordained by the Mayor, Recorder aud aldermen of the city of Ann Arbor, that it shall be unlawl'ul for any person to slaughter beeves, sheep or other animáis within the limits of the city of Ann Arbor. . Section 2. Any violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty dollars, nor exceeding one bundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the Washtenaw County Jail, for a term not exceeding ninety days. Section Sections nine and ten of an ordinance of said city entitled " An ordinance to abate and remore nuisances, and preserve health," being ordinance no. 75, made and passed in Cotnmon Council the fourth day of March, A.
