Nats - Senators Howell, Littlejohn, Maynard, Robinson, Thurber, Williams and Videto- 7 On Thursilay ihc vote was rcconsidered,. ar;d ihe bill commitlèd to the Committce on Inlerual Improvement. They reported amendmonts wliich were adoptcd, und the bill passed by the folio wing vol e: Yeas - Senators Allen, B'.ish, Chipman, Cöc. Dentón. Fcnton, Green, Hale, Kibbee, Mnynnrd', Robinson, Rix, Smith, Thurber, Williams and Videto - 16. Nats- Senators Howell and Littlcjohn - 2. The only amendments we can find'rcported by the Commiitee and adopted, were that the price paid for the transportaron of grain shnll never exceed threefourths the amount now pnid on this road - making the charter repealableattheend of 30, instead of 50 years- and fixing the amoiinl to be paid for tolls at no greater amount than is paid during the months of September and Octobcr, instead of on the Ist day of September a6 in the bil!.
