But the figures regarding the three and j ñve-cent issues of fraclional currency, when it is rememberod how many of . them are required to make ei dollar, are particularly interesting. The issue of these notes ceased in April, 1869, at which time there had been issued .f602,000 of the denomination of three cente, and $5, 700,000 of the fivecent serios. Although over six years have elapsed, there are still outstanding $92,000 in three-cent noU'K, and over $1,870,000 of the
