The reports of the liog cholera, which is taking off thouisands of swine in Indiana, Missouri, Illinois and otherW estern State?, are a serious matter, üur Western farmers, most, of whom have a large surplus of corn, were especting to put rhtlöh of itinto pork this fall. bhould this fatal hog disease extend and contmne its ravages, their expectations in this respect would bo sadly disaponited, and they would be obliged to sell the ir corn at the prevailiBg low prices.
