meeting of the Woman's Temperance Alliance of this county was held at Saline on Thursday and Friday evening of last week. Interesting reports were read by local delegates ; an addiess was given on Thursday evening by Prof. Olney; and resolutions were adopted in favor of organizing Young Peoples' and Juvenile Temperance Societies, acknowledging the sympathy and co-opera tion of ministers of the gospel, recognizing the press as a most important agency, and favor the diffusion of printed circulars appealing to the people, and especially to the women of the county, in behalf of temperance.
