Jolly Old Age
Today is the one hundred and twelfth birthday of the Courant. On the 29th of October, 1764, we issued the first number of the paper, and from that yoar to the present it has never f ailed to appear on time, bringing with it the latest advices and the best advice we had to offer. We have had so many birthdays that va do not cousider them novelties, and have ficen so many strange things that we cannot now recapitĂșlate them ; for it has taken us a hundred and eleven years already to teil them once. Without moi-alizing, we will simply wish our readers the best of good morningK. To our original subscribers we wonld pay especial groeting, and we promise theni a hearty welcome if they will culi njou us auy'day (in tho daytime) and rene w the acquaintance of early years.
