the handle upon end, flll the cavity with aulverized rosin, then warm the small part of the knife or fork and insert it ilowly, crowd it down flrmly and hold it m right position until the rosin cools enough to set. As win is not soluble n water, hot or oold, the kuives are aot ooseued. Glue or any other cementing material soluble in water is notavaüable. Glue may be made to resist water, however, by putting two ounces of it in a ñnt of skimmed milk, and evaporating he mixture to the proper consistèncy f or use.
