meeting oí the Executive Committee and life members of the Washtenaw County Agricultural Society, held at the Oourt House on Saturday last, was slimly attended, and reeulted in no defiuite action." In the absence of the president of the society, U-. A. Peters, of Seio, officiated as chairman, and af ter considerable discussion, which did not develop a unaninaous desire on the part of the life members to waive their rights, the meeting adjourned to Saturday of uext week, February 12, at 10 o'clock A. M. There ought to be a full meeting oí all intsrested. The society is heavily in debt, its annual receipts do not, judging by the past, promise to reduce the indebtedness, and unless there is prompt and vigorous action, ! resulting in mending matters, there will be a collapse one of these days and a consequent loss of the fine and Taluable grounds of the society.
