Atlanta, Ga., Feb. 15.- The folio wng resolutions wer to-day unanimously greed to by the House of Representaides : WlIEREAS, It has been charged on the oor of the United States Senate, and y a portion of the press of the Northrn States, that it is the design of the jegislatare of Georgia to abrógate or bridge the privileges or rignts now enoyed equally by all citizeus of the States under the Constitution of the Jnited States, therefore be it Rezolted, As the sense of this Genoral Assembly, that the equal political rights f all citizens of this State, regardless of ace or previous condition, are permanently fixed and secured by the Constiution of the United States, which is ecognized by this body as the suprome aw of the land, and that no abridgement or interference with these rights s proposed or contemplated, or desired n any aotion of the General Assembly, r by the people whom we represent, nd thut any and all legislation in coniravention thereof, either by the Legisature or by a convention of the people would be nuil and void. Resolved, Purther, that the political relations of all classes in this State ïave been harmoniously adj usted upon k& basis of the present provisión f the Constitution of the United States, iat peace and good feeling between ie races prevail throughont the State, nd th'.t it is ntither the desire nor to ae interest of the people of this State o reopen these questions which have een thus permantntly settled beyoud :ie power of agitation to disturb.
