The National Democratie Committee, to w-hom is delegated the power of fixiDg the time and place of holding the National Demo.iatic ; Convention of 1876, have ajipointed Tueaday, j the 27th day of June next, at noon, ae the time, and Bt. Louis as the place, for holding suoh conveution. Each State will be entitled to a ropresentation equal to doublé th number of ita Senators and Kepresentativés in theCongrees of the United Statea, and the Terntory of Colorado, whose admission in July next aa a State will give it a vote in the Electoral College, is aleo entitled to send delegates to the Convention. The Demeoratio, Conservativo, and other citizens of the United States, irrespeetive of past political associations, desiring to co-operate with the Democratie party in its preseDt efforts and objects, are cordially iuvited to join in senaing delegates to the National Convention. Co-operation is deeired from all personfl who would change an admiuiatration that has suffered public credit to become and remain inferior to other and less favored nations ; has permitted commerce to be taken away by foreign powors ; hiisetifled trade by nnjust, nneqnal and pernicioua legialation : has imposed uuusual taxation and rendered it most burdensome ; haa changed growiug proeperity to widespread suffering and want ; haa squandered public money recklesely, and deriantly and shamelesaJy used the power that Bhould have been swifc topunish crime to protest it. Por these and other reasous the Nation Democratie party, deeroiug the public danger imminent, and earnestly demrous of securing to our country the Dicsamg 01 an ecouoinical, pure, and free Government, cordially invite the co-operation of their fellowcitiz'ens in the eftort to attain thia object.
