- Kev. Mr. Allis, late of Lansing, has aocepted a cali to the Piesbyterian Church at Ypsilanti. - Mrs. Lathrop concluded her fruitful labora with the M. E. Church iu this city on Friday evening last. - The ordinance of baptism waa administered to seven persona at the Baptist Church on Sunday last. - Father Van Erp gave a discourse at St Thomas' Church on Sunday forenoon last. Subject : " Hietorical Misrepresentations." - The Eev. Mr. Graves, a revivalist who has been laboring in the western part of the State, has commenced a series of meetings at Ypsilanti. -Eev. O. E. Fuller, late of Fenton and a University gradúate of the class of 1860, has accepted the rectorahip of St. James' Church (Episcopal), Dexter. - The contract has been let to Messrs. Gardnar and Bichardson to finish the basement of the Congregational Church, and they have already commenced work. - A donation visit for the benefit of Bev. D. B. Shoop, pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Manchester, was given at Goodyear Hall in that villaje on Wednesday evening. - Subjects of discourse of Bev. C. H. ham at Uuitarian Church next Sunday : Morning - " Prophesying : " Evemng - " Rituals." Students' olass at 9:30 a. m.- " The Character of Elisha." - After morning service at the M. E. Church on Sunday last twenty-five members were received on probation, and at the evening service the ordinance of baptisin was administered to thirty persons. - Bev. H. F. Belser, of the Zion (Lutheran) Church, will gíve a course of Sunday evening lectures in Germán, commencing on the 12th inst. Subject--" Truths of the Christian Eeligion ; " and also on the " Proofs " of the ' same. His subject for next Sunday will be the " Evidences of the Authenticity of the Bible" - " Beweisse uber die GHaubwurdigkeit der Bibel."
