The issue of thiá number of the Argus being necessarily delayed until a later hour than usual we are able to announce, without time or s]ace for comment, the nominatious made by the Democratie City Convention held last even ing. The convention organized by electing Edward Clark, President, and J.H. Morris Secretary. The followiiug candidates wee noininated : For Mayor -John L. Burleigh. For Recorder - Charles J. Kintner. For Justtce of the Veace - Richard Beahan. For Supervisors - lst and 2d wards, Fredrick Wm ster ; 3d and 4th wards, Patrick O'Hearn ; 5th and 6th wards, Henry W. Kellogg. Col. Burleigh was nominated on the second ballot - all the other candidatos voted for having ])ositivtely. declined. The Recorder and Justice caudidates were nominated by acclamation. The following are the members of the City Committee : D. Cramer, John G. Qrossman, John B. Dow, Richard Büahau, Isaac Dunn, C, C. Church.
