Mortgage Sale. WHEREA8 Frederick LinSawer, of the township of Lodi, County of Washtenaw, Michigan, on the twenty-eighth aay of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, executed a mortgage to Henry L. James, of Williamsburgh, Massachusetts, to Be cure i he payment of certain principal and interest, being the purchase money therein mentioned, whieh mortgage was lecorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of the County of Washtenaw and State of Michigan, aforesaid, on the 19th day of February, A. D. 1874, at 3:50 o'clock p. M. of aaid day, in liber 49 of mortgages, on page 523 ; And whereaa default has been made for more than thirty days in the payment of an instnllment of principal and interest which became dne on the twenty-eighth day of January, A. D. 1876, by reaBon whereof, and pursuant to the term of Said mortgage, said mortgagee hereby elects that so much of said principal as remains unpaid, with all arrearages of interest thereon hall become due and payable immediately ; And wheieas the re is claimed to be due and unpaid on said mortgage at the date of this notice, the sum of seventeen hundred and thirty dollars and forty-sevcn cents; also an attorney fee of fifty dollars as a reasonable aolicitor'a or attorney's fee, should any proceedings be taken to foreclose the aamo, in addition to all other legal costs, and no suit or proceedings having been had etther in law or equity to recover the same or any part thereof : Notice thereiore is hereby given that on the thirteenth day of May next, at two o'clock in the afternoon of said day, at the front door oí the Court House in the city of Ann Arbor (that being the place of holding the Circuit Court for said countyj, and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, I shall sell at public auction, to the highest bidder, the premises described In said mortgage, to satisfy the amount of prinoipal and interest above claimed as due, with the charges of such sale and an attorneys fee of fifty dollars, all those certain pieces or parcela of land, sitúate and being in the township of Bridgewater in the county of Waehtenaw and State of Michigan, and deseribed as follows, to wit : Being the west half of the west half of the northwest quarter of section number nine ; also the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section number eight, all in towuship number four C4j south of range number four (4) east, containing eigt ty acres of land more oi' less. DEFAULT having been made in the conditions of a certain mortgage made and executed by Viola B. Robinson, of Lansing, Michigan, to Philip Bach, of the city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, beariug date the twenty-seventh day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, and recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Washtenaw county, Michigan, on the 4th day of May, A. D. 1871, at 12 o'clock M., in liber 45 of mortgages, on page 91, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date of this notice, for principal and interest, the sum of one thousand and eighty-seven dollars ($1,087), together with au attorney's fee of thirty dollars should auy proeeedings be taken to foreclose the same, and no proceedings at law or in equity having been instituted to recover the same, or any part thereof : Notice is therefore hereby given, that by virtue of the power of sale in said mortgage contained, and pursuant to the statute in such case made and provided, I will sell at public auction to the highest bidder, on Saturday, the thikd day of June, A. D. 1876, at the south door of the court house in the city of Ann Arbor (that being the building in which the Circuit Court for the county of Washtenaw is held), the premises described in said mortgage, to satisfy the amount due thereon, with said attorney's fee and costs and expenses of sale, to wit : All that certain piece or parcel of land being three rods in width east and west, and ïronting on the south end on Washington street, and six rods in length north and south, and being in the Southwest corner of a piece of land formerly sold by Alvin W. Chase to Philip Bach, and by Philip Bach and wife this day to Viola B. Robinson, and situated in the city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, excepting ton feet of land on the east side of the land desertbed therein to be used by the owner of the adjoining lot as a right of way. D. 1876, at ten o'olock in the forenoon, at the south door of the Court House in the city of Ann Arbor (that being the building in which the Circuit Court for the County of Washtenaw is held), the premises describad in said mortgage, to satisfy the amount due thereon, and the costs and expenses of sale and said attorney's fee, to wit : All that certain piece or parcel of land described and bounded as follows, commencing at a stake in the center of an east and west road on the section line dividing sections twenty-nine (29) and thirty-two (82), township four (4) south of range six (6) east, fourteen rods and three feet west of the northwest corner of Fletcher's land, running thence east fourteen rods and three feet to said corner of Fletcher's lands, thence south eighteen rods and two feet to the center of Ridge road, thence along the center of Ridge road, southwesterly, seveuteen rods and three reet, thence northerly thirty-one rods to the place of beginning, the same containing two acres, - said lands situated in the township of York, Washteuaw County and State of Michigan. Buchoz, administrator, praying that he may be licensed to sell the real ostutè whereof suid dect'ased died seized.
