On balling days her tiny bands Are busy at the inaking ; No bread more light and sweet than hera Was ever naad e by baking. She churus the butter Rolden, 8 weet, And ke'?pH tho dairy white and neat - The farmer'ö ueeful daughter. Her garden is an Eden fair, A blooin with pinkn and roses - She knows the name of every flower, And makes some gorgeous posies - Growe peas, and radishf r, and cress, And corn, and squashj and herbs to presa - The faimer'8 happy daughter.
