Suitpending in the Circuit Court for the County of waahtenaw, in chancery, whereln Catharlne T. Warsabo is complainant, and Peter O. Johnson, Sarah M. Johnson, Andrew J. Sutherland and Henry Douglass are defendants. Upon due proof by aflidavit, tlmt the defendant, Henry Don glas, lives out of this state, and is a resident of the State of New York : On motion of James B. Gott of counsel for complainant, it is ordered that the said defendant, Henry Douglass, cause his appearance in this cause to be entered within tbree monthg from the date of this order; j and that in case of his appearance he cause his answer to the complainant's bilt to be filed and a copy thereof to be serYed on the complainant's solicltor within twenty days aftr service of a copy of said bill and notice of this order, and in default thereof that the said bill be taken as confessed by the said defeudant Henry Douglass. And it is further ordered, that within twenty days the said complaiuantcause this oider to be published in the Michigan Ar g u$t a newspaper printéd in said county of washtenaw, and that the said publication be continued in said paper at least once in each week for six weeks in succession ; or that he cause a copy of this order to be personally served on the said Henry Douglass at least twenty days before.the time above prescribid for his appearance.
