The Govemment hore is preparing for the gravest eventualities. ft knows that among the Bulgarians Panslavie agitators aro actively at work, and that soon the revolutionary files may broak out in the raviiios of the Balkan. The false news of the abdioation of tlie Czar Alexandcr, was received with the greatest joy by all the Austrian and Turkish Slavos ; the contradictiou of it is not believed, andas thoCzarowitz, without or with reaBon, is regarded as the hend of Panslavista, the revolutionaiy fire increases among the Austrian Slaves. Almost daily frcsh mcasnres taken by the Administration of War become known to the public, each one in itself insignificant, but altogether afïbrding a proof tliat Gvery proparation is being made for a rapid movement of the troops ; and all the details of organization noee;jsary for au army in activo service are being arrauged, iu caso Austria should be compelled at last to procoed to oxtremities. In the arsenals at Vienna and Pola work is carried on without intermission. Both tho Danube monitors have been armed niul Tfill go to Sernlin, opposite Belgrade. The formation of a corps of messengors on horseback over 3,000 men strong from the cavalry regimentó has been ordered, and it has beon decided tluit the Austrian Landwehr and Hungarian Honvods shall bo attached to the standing army, so tnat each regirnont will bo at least stronger by a battaïion whon it takes the field, and besides these sufficient troops remain in tho depots and garrisons to man tho fortressos. Austria, as I have said, has not yet dravn ihe sword, but her hand is on the liilt. - Vicnna Cor. London Standard.
