We have appoiuted Weduesday, the 9th day of August next, at noon, as the time, and Whitney's Opera House, Detroit, as the place .for holding a i lemoeratlc State Conveution ior the purpose of Domlnattng candidates for Stat officers and Electors for President and Vice-Piesident of the United nietes, and for the trausactiou of such other busiii ss as may come before it. Eacta couuty will be entitled to four delegates to each Representativo to whieh, under the last apIKirtionnient, lt is entitled lm the lower branch of the State Legislature : but each organized county wlll be entitled to at least two delegates.
