- The Umtarians will hold a fair in the basement ot their church next Wednesday vemng, Deo. 13. Among other things there will be a table fllled with presenta sent from ioston, which will bo sold duriug the evening Supper irom 6 to 8 o'cleck. Admissiou 1Ü euts. - The subject of Dr. Brown's next Sunday vening lecture in the Presbyteriun Church will be, "The Martyrdoms of two Translators of our Engli8h Bible- Tyndale and Fryth." - Rev. C. H. Brigham will give on Sunday vening uext, at the Uuitarian Church, the Oth lecture of hls course on the Middle Ages, on the "Inquisitiou." - An organ concert will be given in Zion's Church (Lutheran), on Friday evening next, December 15, to which the public is generally nvited. The society haa patrouized home industry, their uew organ being manufactured by D. F. Allmandinger, of this-city. Go and ïear, and voluntanly coutribute a email fee at ho door for the benefit of the organ fund. -The Young Peoples' Society ot the M. E. }hurch will give a pound paper social and yster supper m the parlors of the Church on ?uesday evening, December 12. Admisssion, pound of paper (newspaper or note paper) r ten cents. Doors open at seveu o'clock. feupper at eight. - The regular meeting of the Young People's Society of the M. E. Church is to be held at the residence of Mrs. We3t, 28 Liberty treet, this evening.
