There was a doublé service in a Motbodist Chureh at Nottingham, Manitoba,-"on a recent Sunday. A feud had rent asunder the congregation, and eaoh faotion callea a now minister. One of them took poasession of the pulpit, and the other sat behind the chancel rail. The man in the pulpit gave ont one hymn and the man behind the rail another, and both were sang simultaneoubIv by the rival faotions. The maa behiucl the railiug gave out his test, aml th o man in the pulpit begin to read a chapter from the Bible. The chapter carne to an oud before the sermón, and a hyuin was interjected ; but the prpacher went on from point to point ■without beiug woi-ried in the least. At the close of the service a deaoon explained that it had been enactod "under legal advice, and to f urthor the cause of Christ."
