Protecting French Physicians
A proposition of some importance to American medical men and surgeons of all sorts is now before the French Senate, lts object is to prohibit all foreign physicians, surgeons, dentista and apothecaries from praotising in France unless they go through the curriculum presoribed by the examining boards in the French schools, tbe said course taking, we believe, about six years to complete. This is a new form of "protection," and it particularly concerne American dentista, who have long been regarded as the best in the world, and not a few of whom have earned in France and on the continent both fame and fortune.
