Another Pacific Railroad
There is a very modest Pacific rail road project before Congress. It only asks for $10,000 or $15, 000 to enable a survey to be made, under the direction of the War Department, of a line from Austin, Texaa, crofsiiig Meiico, and terminatijig at a harbor on the Gulf of California cailedTopoloampo bay. The length of the pi oposed line is only 800 railes.
