The American Fisli Ctilturists' Association lias just heldits sixth anmial mcctiug in New York. President Koosevelt read a paper on the result of tlic artificial culture of iish in New York State by the commission. Prof. Milner read i paper advocatiug the proteotion of ñsh by legislation. Mr. Balteman said that in Holland there was a regular fishery pólice, and reeommeiided a similar system for this country. Mr. Wilmot, of Canada, reported as to fish-culture tliere. 8ome 6,000,000 salmón and 9,000,000 white fish are nearly ready to bo placed in the utreams. There was a general discussion of fish legislation and iuterests, and a fish supper to close witli in the evening.
