Jiesolved, That for the erection of said new Court House and olnces, the aum of forty thousand dollars ia hereby appropriatfïd, subject to the approval of the electora of the County of Washtenaw, and that the said $40,000 shali be raised by a loan on the bonds of the County of Watshtenaw, payable withiu Üve yeara from the flrst day of FeDruary, 1877 puyable in Üve annual installmenttt of eight thoutjiand dollars, at a rate of intcreat not to exceed eight per cent. per annum, payable annually on the flrst day of Pebruary. llesoh-cd, That if a majority of the electort of saiii county vot ïïiji on aaid loan uhall authorize the aame, ït shall be the duty of the Board of Supervisors of said county to make the loan aa above provided. and to order from year to year the levyíilí: and collecting a tax sutticient to pay the several in ut alimenta thereof as they may beoome due, with interest. Sexoh'fl, Thnt the queation of authorizing aaid loan of $40,000 for the erection of a uew Court House be submitted to the electora of the Couuty of Washtenaw at the spring electioii, held on the ftrst Monday of April, 1877, and that the County Clerk of said county be and in hereby autborized to furnish the inspectora of eleotion of the several towuships and warda of said county with propur ballots, and said inspectora shall provide ballot boxes for the reception of ballota for or against said loan ; and thoe electora voting for aaidj Io0o ahall have printed or written on theii bailóte the worda " For the loan," and thoae electora voting againat aaid loan shali have printed or written on tfiflix ballota the words " Against the loan," and that due canvaas and return shall be made of such vote, as requirod by aeciion 435, compiled laws of 1871. Ketotved, That a building committee, consiating of Öve membera, be electwl by thia board, who shall prpceed immediately, in case the electora of Washtenaw County shall vote for aaid Juan of $40,000, to adopt auch plana and speciticationa for a new Court House as they may deein beat, provided the coat of aaid new Court House ghall not exceed the sum of $40,000 to the County of Washteuaw, exclusive of the $20,00ü donatie! by the City of Ann Arbor; and aaid committee ahall, before they commence the eiection of aaid house, aocure to the countv the $20,000 donated by the City of Aun Arbor ; and said committee ahall huve ptjwer, and are hereby authorized, to advertiae for, recaive, and accept propouala for building said Court Houae, and in all thinga pertaining thereto act for and in behtilf of the Board of öuperviaors. Rtsolvtd, That the County Clerk and chairman of the Board of Superviaora, are hereby inatrucled, in case the electora of the county ahall vote for said loan of $40,000, to iasue the boud of the county from time to time fcr auch amounta as the building committee shall deern necessary and proper for the conbtruction of eaid Court House, provided that under no circumstances shall the bonda itsued exceed the aum ot $4 ',000, nor in any way conflict with the condition expres&ed in the aecond reeolutioa above.
