SEABOLT- In this city, Tuesday, April 10, Carrie E. Seabolt, daughter of Martin and Catharine Seabolt, aged 9 months and 11 days. The Lord has passed through His garden In the misty morning gray, He has stooped to the bed of lilies, Where the early dew-drops lay, And the faírest he laid in His bosom And bore it with Him away. WALKER- In Bay City, on the 13th inst., of scarlet fever, Lottie E., only daughter of Geo. W. and Lizzie A. Walker, aged 7 yrs., 5 mos. and 14 days. A broken lily, a crushed bud, A spotless dove escaped its prison, But, while we weep in darkness here, Another star to God has risen. ALLEN- In Madison, Lenawee County, on Friday, April 6, of disease of the heart, Deborah Sutton, wife of Stephen Allen and mother of Mrs. E. B. Pond of this city, aged 80 years, 5 raouths, and 10 days. Mr. Allen was born in Romulus, Seneca County, N. Y., October 27, 1796 ; was married in the same town, Oct. 16, 1822 ; removed to Michigan in 1836, and in May, 1837, settled with her surviving huaband and famüy- at that time four sons and four daughters - on the farm where she has ever slnoe resided and where she died. October 10, 1872, sha celebrated her golden wedding, and to the 50 years of married life nearly 4 yeais have been added She died in the full poasession of her faeultles, responding to the summons with cheerfulness and christian resignation. Four children have gone before her, and three sons and two daughters survive, to cherish her memory and cheer the reraainiug years of the bereaved busband and father.
