Eev. E. P. Goodrich was publicly installed as pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Manchester on Tuesday evening of this week. The installation ceremonies were conducted by clergymen from abroad. The Bev. Mr. Loofcwood, of Hillsdale, preached the sermón ; Bov. Mr. Edgar, of Blissüekl, admiuistered the cliarge to the pastor eleot ; and Rey. Mr. HUI, of Adrián, the charge to the people. Mr. Goodrich has been on trial for the last six months and has given eminent satisfaction, The romains of Mr. George Hewett were brought home for burial on Tuesday. He died very suddenly at Indianapolis, being fonnd dead in his room in the morning. Mr. Hewett was for severa! years oue of our prominent business men as one of the owners of the Southern Washtenaw Mills. He leaves a large circle of relativos and friends in Manchester to mourn his untimely end, - Buyers were paying yesterday : For wheat.
