Decoration Day

Arrangements have been completad to observe Memorial Day, May 30, in Aan Albor, by appnate ceremonies, as i'ollows : A procession consisting of Co. A, led by the band and followed by Reform Club, City Officers, Speakers, Schools, and Citizens on foot and in carnages. These will proceeü to the Oth ward Engine House, whers they will be received by the Ladies' Decoration Society, children bearing flags and flowers, schools, and citizens generally. Thence they will march to the Cemetery, where, atter decorating the Soldiers' Monument, there will be singing, speaking, music, and recitations. Come frieuds and brethren, in one common cause let there be a large and hearty response. Let us rejoice over our freedom and prosperity, while we remember gratetully the " brave boys in blue " who laid down their lives in the service of their country. By order of Committee. The following resolutiou was adopted at the recent meeting, in Grand Rapids, of the State Homeopathie Medical Society : Resolved, By the State Homeopathie Society oï Michigan, in their corporate body, ïndividually and in bohalï of their patrous, that we hereby tender to our past and present Legïslature, and our Board ot Regents, our thanks for their prompt actiou on all occasions where the well-being of the people, and cause of scientiüc medicine, and the prosperity ot our proiesskm lias demanded attention at their hand.
