- Kev. Wyilys Hall, of St. Andrews's Cliurcl), preached in Bay City last Sunday. - That strawberry festival on Tuesday eveniug netted the Young People's Society of the Presbterian Clinrch ÏÖO, - Next Sunday is " Childreu's Day" at the M. E. Church in tliis city, and in other M, E. Churches throughout this country. The services will be speoial and appropriate to the occasion. - An excursión to Lake St. Clair, by the steamer Northwest, is to be giveu uext Saturday, June 16, under the auspicos of the Presbyterian Society, - leaving at 7 a. m. and amving home at (i;20 p. m. Faie for the round trip. $1.50. - Rev. W. Hall and Messr. J. M. Wheeler, H. W. Eogers, aud C. H. Millen are attending the forty-third animal convention of the Diocese of Michigan, which opened ab Detroit, on Wednesday. - The young poople of the Congregational Society exhibited the celebrated Mrs. Jarley's "waxfigurs" on Wediiesday evening to an appreoiating audience. Mrs. Jarley was good aud lier " figurs " lite-hke.
