A letter from Greenwood, Arizona Cerritory, gives the following account of a characteristie Western aflray, rèsultng in the dea tb of three men : ' ' On JVidny night Grant Biake aud Johnny Baker were killed. It seems that Johnny ïaker got drunk, and swore lie woul'd till any man in Sinith's saloon. There vas a Dr. Foster there, whom Johnny did not like. He kept flourishing the sistol over the doctor's head, saying he -was g3ing to kill him. The doctor got ip from the table, wliere he -was sitting, ind went wp the street to his cabin and ;jot a double-barreled eliotgun. He carne jack to the saloon to make Johnny beg lis pardon ; so he says. Grant Blake saw him go over to Smith's saloon with he gun and ran after him to take Tohnny's part. Arriving there, Blake ld the doctor and Johnny to put up ,heir weapons. At this, the doctor tumed on him and shot Grant right throvigh the ireast. ïhc latter seeing the movement of raising the gun, had almosfc iiumediately retumed tlie flre, liitting the loctor between the eyes. After shootngGrautthe doctiï turned on Johnny Jiiker, and ñring the seoond barrel of lis gun landed the charge in Johnny's jreaet, killing him instnntly. Johnny md the doctor feil at the same time. Jrant turned around after being hit and ïad walkod half-way across the street to iis srtloon, when he also dropped. They niried (Jrant and Johnny on Bat mVay ; he doctor is not expected to live."
