At its laat session the Legislatura paased tho followiug "Aot to prohibit any person trom obstructing tho reguar operation and conduct of the business of railroad couipanies or other eor)orations, firma or iudividuals " : SECTION 1. The people of the State of Michigan enact : lf any porsou or lorsons shall willfully and malioiously, y any act or by means of iutimidation, mpede or obstruct, except by due proce8s of law, tho regular operation and conduct of the business of any railroad couipany or other Corporation, firui or ndividual in this State, or of the reguar running of any locomotivo engine, roight or passenger train of any such ompany, or the labor and business of any Euoh Corporation, firin or individual, he or they shall, on couviction thereof, be punished by imprisonmnnt in the ouuty jail not more than three inonths or in the State Prison for a period not xceeding one year. Sec. 2. If two or more persons shall willfully and malioiously combine or onspire together to obstruct, or impede, y auy act or nioans of intimidation, he regular operation and conduct of he business of any railroad corapany, or any other Corporation, firm or individual in this Stato, or to impede, hin:er or obstruct, except by duo procesa of law, the regular running of any loomotive ongino, freight or passenger rain on any railroad, or the labor and business of auy such Corporation, firm or individual, such persons shall, on conviction, be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not moro than threo months, or in the State Prison for a period not exceoding two yeara. SEC. 3. This act shall not bo construod to apply to cases of peraons voluutarily quitting tho einployment of any railroad oompany, or such other corporation, firm or individual, whethor by concert of action or otherwise.
