Death After Long Suffering
This raorning Mrs. Ann Mary, wife of George Herberger, St. Michael's street, died after an illness extending back for fiftcen years. She was afflicted at first ■with rheumatism, arid for the whole fifteen years has not lain tipon a bed or wulked a step. Por the past flve years slie has not been out of a chair, even to sit upon a couch. Her spine and limbs were distorted and stiffened, and she was bent forward nearly doublé. Her head would rest on the back of a chair, and in that positiou for five years she has patiently awaited death. She was 62 years of age at the time of her death. - Èochester Union.
