Exhibitors in all departmonts cannot be too oaref ul about directing their articles or animáis. When shipping by by freight, direct to State Fair Station, Jaoksou, Mich. The Assistant Superintendent, Mr. E. C. Brown, of the Michigan Central, with that liberality which has always distinguished the great Michigan railroad, made arrangonxents, in 1876, for loading and unloading live stock in the rear of the Fair Qrounds, just aoross Grand liivur, and olose to the cattle stalls, sheep pens and atables. He built a cattle ahutu for the especial use of the exhibitors, and the cars will run within a few rods of the stalls, so that exhibitors of live stock will have overy faoility for loading and unloading. JACKSON. Jackson, where the State fair is located for 1877, is the county soat of Jackson County. It is centrally looated in the heart of a fine and rioh agricultural sectiou of the country. lts railroad facilities are not exoelled by any other town in the State. It is the center, so to speuk, of the great Miohigan Central railroad system. It is connectert by daily lines of railroad with Qrand Rapids and points in the northwest of the State ; with Lausing and Saginaw in the uorth and northeast; with Detroit in the east with Adrián and Toledo in the xouth, with Fort Waye in the southwest, and with Chiuogo and the West. The Fair Grounds are ocouipact, well arranged and boautiful, and the halls, sheds and grand stands are spacious and convenient. The Fair Grounds are but a few minutes' walk from the inain street and depots of the city. THE GBAND CAYALCADE OF STOCK. will take place on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 19, and will oommence its circuit around the beautiful half-mile track at precisely two o'olock. This feature of the State Fair for 1877, will.be worth seeing. The Cavalcade will include all the thoroughbred Horses and Cattle on the ground, as well as other domestic stock entered for exhibition. Owners of stock are oxpected to be promptly on hand and have their animáis ready and in place for the Grand Cavalcade. All morning trains from nearly all parts of to allow passongers to witness this Cavalcade. Rocollect, half fare.
