- We are informed that the Amorican Unitarian Assooiation has declined to accept the resignation of Rev. C. H. Brigham, aud appoint his successor at present, but will tomporarily aupply the church here in the hope of Mr. Brigluim's early recovi ry. The Rev. Mr Farrot, of Jackson, wül occupy tlie pulpit on Sunday next. Subject for eveiüng discourse, " Inspirntion." - Rev. A. E. Wilkinaon, late pastor of the Baptist Church at Springfield Ohio, now tetnporarily resident in this city (his former home), preachod in the M. E. Uhurch ou Sunday evening last. - Rev. Mr. Kensler, late of Ohio, is the new pastor of the Bethel Lutherau Church oí Freedom, - At the recent aossion of the Michigan Conference of Wesleyan Methodists, Rev. J. Pixley was appointed to Manchester and Woodstock circuit, and Rev. S. A. Gerry to the Saline and Ypsilanti circuit, - the only two appomtments for this county. - 1 lio JJetroit Posta Salem correspondent says: John Dickersou, propiïetor of moat of the real estáte about the station, has finally givon to the Baptist society a site for their church opposite the resideuce of E. O. Smith, Escj., and the church will be placed on the new site within a few days. The Rev. J. Lemon, the recent pastor, is maldng arrangements to remove to Ann Arbor. The Summit Congregationul Church is without a pustor. Beading service and Sabbath-school are held every Sabbath morningtruo. S. Wheeler, Esq., and Prof. B. M.
