QTATE OF MICHIGAN, City of Ann Arbor. To 0 Joseph Henderson, James Coleinan, and Merchant H. Goodrich, and any other person or persons interested in the premises hereinafter raentioned : You are hereby notified that you are ibout to be assessed to defray the expenses of grading and constructing the sidewalk in front of or adjacènt to certain premises, owned or occupied by you in said city of Ann Arbor ; and that a report and assessment roll made out in the premises is on file in the office of the Recorder of said city Tor inspection : and further, that the Common Souncil of said city will meet at the Common Council room, in said city, on the 5th day of Noveraber, A. D. 1877. at 7U o'clock p. m., and review such assessinent roll on the requeat of any person considering himself aggrieved. Said sidewalk is to be construeted on the west side of Fourth street, between Catharine street and Depot street in said city, twenty rods and two feet in length, in front of the premises owned or occupied by the above named parties, exclusive oí' any crosswalks therewith, and four feet wide, of two inch ftine plank, laid lengthwise, on oak sleepers two by óur inche3, four feet long, four feet apart, witu iwo sleepers under the joints. And you are further notified that you are alïowed thirty days in which to makesuch grading and sidewalk under the superintendente of Christian Schmidt, Chairman of the Sidewalk Committee of the Common Council of said city , and that if the same shall, within that time, have been so constructed to the satisfaction of such superintendent, no expense of proceedings to collect the same against the person or persons so constructing shall be incurred by tiim or them. Beek, John Jacob Eitíng, and Mrs. Mary Maynard, and any other person or persons üterested in the premie3 hereinafter mentioned : You are hereby notified that you are about to be assessed to defray the expenses of grading and constructing the sidewalk in front of or adacent to certaia premises owned or occupiïd by you in said City of Aun Arbor; and hat a report and assessment roll, made out in the premises, is on file in the office of the Recorder )i said City for inspection ; and further, that the 'oinmon Council of said City will meet at the Common Council room in said city on the 5th day of Novemher, A. An ordinance to repeal "An Ordinance relative to Billiard Tables, Saloons, etc." Be it ordained by the Mayor, Recorder and Aldermen of the City of Ann Arbor : Sec. 1. That an ordinance eutitlcd "An Ordinance Relative to Billiard Tables, Saloons, etc.," jeing chapter 32d of the Revised Ordinances of the City or Ann Arbor, be, and the same is hereby repealed. Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be published for two successive weeks in the Michigan Argus, and shall take effect at the expiration of fifteen days "rom the first insertion in said paper.
