St. T. T. B. S. Resolutions
At a regular meeting ot at. 1 liornas lemperance benevolent Society, held Nov. 11, the followiug resolutions were adopted : Resolved, ïhat aa we are uow a thorough organized body, preparod with thö help of divine graco to combat with. the many dalusiona that suggest intemperance, we hereby express our feeliugs of gratitudo toward Itev. Father Van Krp, fur the nntirilig zoal eïfiibited iu our formatiou. Resoloctl, ïhat as we are iu reoeipt of the proceeda oí his lecture on Home, we liighly appreciate aud thank hiui for the beuovolence inanifested towards the h'naucial weaknesa of our infancy. Resolved, ïhat as heietoforo our obstinate loiteriuga in the liquor shopa has been to him a aubject of ceaaeless pain, that in futuro a atnot adherence to the prescribed conditioua in our pledge shall bc to him a special sourco of joy.
