One of tbe most ludiorous combata on record occurred at a Turkisk batk in St. Louis a few days ago. Two mortal enemies, a pkysician and a bank oaskier, kappened to occupy neighboring coackes in tke kottest room of tke establiskment, and were eDJoying a tkor ougk steaming before tkey noticed eaek otker. A wordy warfare was instantly begun, wkick soon developed into blows, and tke two naked citizens, eack dreneked in perspiration, were locked in a deadly struggle. Tke strip of matting, wkick protects tke batkers' feet from tke almost red-kot floor, was soon pusked aside, and tke figkt went on furiously upon tke blistering pavement. As tke floor began to burn tkeir bare feet, tke combatants capered up and down in agony, pounding eaek otker's faces witk tke fury of despair. Tke wildest dervisk dnnce never exkibited so extraordinary a spectacle. At last tke attendants rusked in and separated the performers, and procecded to bind up tkeir many wounds. Tke skriveled skin peeled from tke doctor's feet like parckment, and tke caskier was also pretty well roasted. Tkey parted full of tkreats, but wken tkey figkt again it probably won't be in tke rnidst of a furnace.
