By requeat of a subserlber, we copy from the session laws oi 1877, " An act to prevent hunting for game with fire-arm3, doga, or otherwite, ou any enclosed lands or premises of another in auy couuty of this State without the consent of the owner or lessee of such landB or premisee : '' "Section!. 'Ihe People of the State of Michigan enact, ïhat it shall be unlawful lor auy peraon or persons to hunt tor game with h're-aims, dogs, or othorwise ou any enclosed lands or premises of another iu any county of this State without the consent of the owner or lessee of such lands or premises. Sec. 2. Any persou or persons violating the provisions of the foregoing sectiou of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall pay a ñne not less than five nor more than twenty dollars, in the discretiou of tbe court, and cos:s of prosecution. And in case the fine imposed and costs of prosecution sball not be paid, the defendant shall be contined in the county jail of the county not less than five nor more' thau thirty days : Provuled, however, That no complaiut shall be made or entertained against any person for the violation of any of the provisions of this act unless the same sliali be made by the owner or lessee of the land or premisea so trespassed against [upon] " We understaud that, either through ignorance or wüfully the law is being daily disregarded.
