Kuiht. In flction there are : Detmold, a Romance, part IV, by W. H. Bishop. A Lost Lover, by Sarah ü. Jewett ; and The Loves of Alonzo Fitz Clarence and Rosannah Etlielton (telephonic), by Mark Twain. Chas. Dudley Warner tells of his "Fight with a Trout" in the Adirondacks (liahy); J. ƒ. Piatt disuusses Mr. Stedman's Poetry ; W. D. Howells writes of Jean Francois Marmontel, a French Poet of the üld Regime ; and Raymond Westbrook bas another Open Letter irom New York, in which he treats of the metropolitan theaters and the romantic drama.
