- Rev. Dr. Cocker was very brief in hia last Sunday afternoon address at the Opera House, and was followed by ex-Alderman Henry öordon, ot Detroit. - This is one of the many solid aud startling truths that our fellow Citizen E. E. Frazer uttered in hia address to the Jackson Eeform Club last Sunday evening : "It was the hightoned, genteel, moderate, independent drunk, ards who did more harm than the drunkards, for it is th'eir example which is followed by our sons, and not the example of the drunkard. The man who falls does not commence at the bottom, but falls from the top." - The Juvenile Temperance Union will hold a fair and festival at the Reform Club rooms this atternoon and evening, February 22. Admission five cents. -Rev. Daniel E. Shier, of Chelsea, is the Reform Club speaker for next Sunday atternoon.
