- ltev. D. B. Shier, of Chelsua, liad a larga audiünce at the Kefoim Club meeting on Sunday afternoon last, and gave a telling address. - On Sunday eveuing last Eev. R. B. Pope and William Burk addressod the Lodi Reform Club. - Kev. Mr. Hildreth, ot Jackson, ia the Reform Club speaker for next Sunday afteruoon. He is reported as able on the temperance platform as in the pulpit. - The St. Thomas Temperance Society proposes a celebratiou of St. Patrick'a day,- though not on that day, wliich comes on Sunday. On Saturday evening, March 1 (j, an address ïvill be given by Heury Gordon, of Detroit, and on Monday evening, March 18, in the Reform Club rooms, a silver pitcher will be voted for at 10 cents a ballot,- the candidates being President Schumacher, of the Reform Club, and President O'Mara, of the St. Tilomas Society. R. E. Frazer, Esq., will present the pitcher to the successfu! candidate.
