Knappen, defaulting treasurer of Dentón, Roscommon county, has just been arrested at Midland, The embezzleinent, some $200, was committed two years ago, and he has kept shady until lately. - Marión Hall, of Howell, has been arrested on a charge of bigamy and taken to Mason for examination. It is claimod that he has two wives, number two, at Mason, sending the warrant with her compliments. - Tho Rogers City shingle and planing mili, with a quantity of shingles and shingle bolts, etc, the house, office and outbuildings were all burnt to the ground June 1. The estimated loss is $8,000. The large Molitor mili caught lire from the sparks, but the ñames were extinguished. - Tecumseh is a fat townihip in oue of the best farming counties of the State. This spring's oensus shows : Eight of her farmers raised over 1,000 ushels of wheat each, the highest béng 2,200; 10 had an average of 25 jushels or over to the acre, the highest eing 31 ; 13 raised 1,500 bushels or over of oom, the highest being 3,500 ; .2 raised 500 bushels or over of oats, the highest being 1,200 ; and four raised over 300 bushels of barley.
