- The ladies of the Presbyterian Church will serve ice cream and strawbernes this evening ia the parlors of the church. -At Gillett M. E. Church, Sharou, the fourth quarterly meeting of the current year will be held on Sunday next, June 17, at 2 o'clock p. m. -The strawberry and ice creara festival at M. E. Church on Friday evening last netted but $20. During the evening a orate of strawberne8 - 16 quarts - were stolen from the store-room. - Last Sunday wa3 "Children's Day" at the M. E. Uhtirch, and the children were out in large numbers, looking bright and happy. The audience room was elaborately and beautifully decorated for the occasion. -The rain iuterfered with that "Dairy-maid and Lawn Festival" announced to be held on the grounds of J. Austiu Scott on Friday afternoou and evening laat, and it was held in-doors on Saturday evening. A pleasant time was had. -The Ladies' and Young Ladies' Societies of the Episcopal Church will give a lawu tea party upou the grounds oi C. H. Millen, Esq., on Weduesday next, June 19. Grounds open at 4 p. m. Relreshinente as desired. Tea, including strawberries and ice cream, 3i cents. Miwio by the Choral Society will constituĂ­a a most attractive feature of the entertainment.
