In order once more to assure our thousands of Republican readers tbat they need not be si irraed at tho cry n " revolution"' and " Mexieanization," we reproduce the resolution that wasadopted by the House : Resolved, That the two houses of tho Fortyfourth Congrese, )is,vdk countod the votes cnf?t for President and Vico lresident of the United Staten, and having i-lecided Kntherford B. Hayos and WilH&m A. Wheeler duly elected leKÍdcnt and Vico Presidont, thero is no power in any substquent Cougreas to reverse that declaratiou, nor cao auy such power be ext reiHcd by the conrty of tho United Btates, or any ether tribunal that Congress can créate undcr the oonstitution. There were bnt fourteen votes in oppfci'ion to this resolution. This expresses the purpose of the Houso of Rspresentatives tonching the Presidential tille. It robs the Republican party of its amtounition and its bafitle-cry. There will bo no excuse hf reafter for ïaisrcpro.3enting or misunderstandiug the attitude of the Democratie party
