The officers and men of Huron Engine Company, No. 3, hereby take occasion to expresa their sincere and hearty thanks to the ladies of the Decoration Society ior the tasty and elegant marnier in which they arrayed the engine and hose cart of the compauy on the ate Fourth of July. If flowora eau add beauy to every object which their proseuco adorna' nd who can say they do not, theu all must onfess that the gallant littte engine of the rifth ward was iairly resplendent with beauty n our " ever glorious Fourth." In fact the ompany could ñnd no better way of testifyng their appreciation of the services so graceully and opportunely rendered, than by taiing the trace rope in their owu hands and scorting the beautiful pageaut through the jrincipal streets of their city, for certainly the iriUe which each individual niember feit in he display the company made lightened the abor and made the company a guard of honor athor than a band of tired and perspiring ijii. All honor to the ladieB, and may they eel cunfident that it was not for lack of apireciation and gvatitude that thia card of ïanks makes a somewhat tarity appearance. Hukon Enoinb Co., No. 3.
