The Circuit Court opened in regular term aj 10 o'clock a. m. on Tuesday last, Judge Runtington presiding. The Calendar was teariiically slaughtered on "flraf oall." Up to yesterdny afternoou disposition liad been made of cases as follows : CRIMINAL CASES. People vs. Jamos Murphy ; receiviug Btoleu property ; arraigned and plead not guilty ; enterod into recognizauce in the sum of f250 with A. Kearuey as aurety. People vs. Martin Eckeriah, Jr.; robbery ; ai raigned and plead uot guilty; entered into recoguizauce in the sum of $ 1,000 with Martin Eckerish as surety. People vs. Daniel Maroney ; assault and battery ; entered into recognizance in the sum of 1100 with Patrick Wall as surety. People vs. Isaac Harper ; larceny ; arraigned and plead guilty ; 1 year 6 months to House of Correction. People vs. Benjamin Barrington ; larceny; arraigned and plead guilty ; one year House oí Correction. People vs. Geo. Gough ; larceny; arraigned and plead guilty ; 1 year 6 months to House of Correctiou. People vs. William M. Fullerton ; larceny from dwelling ; arraigned aud plead guilty. People vs. William E. McNulty ; larceny from dwelling; arraigned aud piead not guilty; Frank Emerick appointed to defend. People vs. Nürris ïippadore ; larceny from the person ; arraigned and plead not guilty ; E. P.Allen appoiuted to (luiend. People vs. George Cook ; convicted of nmuslaughter at a tonner term of court, came into court and was seutenced to State Prisou for the term of seveu years. l'eople vs. George Carr ; assault and battery; entered into recognizauce in the suin of $100 with A. V. Kobison as surety. l'eople vs. John Keegan ; highway robbery ; Prosecutmg Attorney submitted satisfactory reusons for not filing iuformation, whereupon the priaoner was ordered discharged. People vs. Ranaoui D. Saulsbury and Thos. J. Crowell ; obtaiuing money uuder false pretenses, and for uttoriug foiged draft ; entered into recognizauce in the sum of f 1,200 each with Kansom Saulsbury aurety lor Saulabury aud James B. Gott for tlia latter. In the cases of the People vs. Charles C. Wright tor false pratenses Edward Beamau for forgery, Lizzie Wiuecop for iudecent exposure of persou, and John G. Guldey, the Prosecuting Attomey submitted reasona tor not filing informations, which were satisfactory to the Court, after which the priiona wece ordered discharged DIVOECES QBAN'TED. Helen M. The case of The Regenta vs. Silas H. Douglas hun ben set down for trial next Wednesday.
