- So far as the Abous items man is advised the several Suuday Schools named will have Christnias exercises as tollo ws : Fifth ward School to-moriow eveuing ; the Methodist aud Presbyterían Schools on Christmas ove ; and the Mission School on Christmas evening. There will be feasting aud presents, etc. - For the next three weeks the Sunday evening lectures and Student's Inquiry Class at the Unitarian Church will be suspended, - to resume again with the openiug of the University. Next Sunday moruing Mr. Sunderland will exchange with Rev. Mr. Bowen, of Jackson. - On the evening before Christmas the Unitarian Suuday School will have an entertainment at the church, consisting of Christmas tree, pantomimes, simple dramatic representations by the children, &a. - The "Song Service" at the Unitarian Church on Sunday evening drew an audience altogether beyond the accommodations ot the house, and the varied prográmate was auccessfully carried out. - At 10 1-2 o'clock a. 3i. ou Christmas, Rev. R. B. Pope will preach ín the Gerinan Methodist Church. - Services will be held at St. Andrew's Church on Christmas forenoon. - Dr. A. B. Palmer has been elected warden of St. Andrew's parish, vice John M. Wheeler, resigned, and Kdward Treadwell takes the office of vestryman vacated by Dr. Palmer. The Agricultural Society. The annual meeting of the Washtenaw County Agricultural and Horticultural Society was held at Firemen's Hall in this city, ou Tuesday last, with a fair attendance. Treasurer Parshall reported the receipts for the year : At ticket office, $2,541.73 ; at grand stand, $1 01.4.0 ; for rent, $358 ; donation, $25. Total, [13,023.18. Paid premiums, $1,329.75; incidentals, $472.47 ; for new buildings, $509.89; interest, $662 ; note, $51.22. Total, $3,638.33, leaving the Treasurer out $15.15. The report was approvec. President Parker stated that the mortgage debt owed by the society, $3,000 and interest at 10 per cent., would become due the 25th ot March next, at which time the society inight hope to obtain the money at a lower rate of interest. President Parker was electod a delégate to the State Conveution of Agricultural Societiea to be held at Lansing January 15.
