- L. H. Haynes of Detroit ia in town visiting friends. - Mrs. Mary Meyers of Lansing is in town and will remain'a few weeks, the guest of her numerous friends. - Next Sunday evening Jan.25,Bobert E. Frazer of Ann Arbor will deliver the address before the Keform Club.- Music by the reform club chior. - Wood & Co., grocers of this place have bought the stock of groceries and building occupied by Mrs. Camp. They will continue to do business at their old stand until the first of March and then move into their new quarters. Mrs. Camp will return to Ypsilanti. - Bev. E. B. Pope of Ann Arbor will lecture at the M. E. Church before the W. and P. C. U. Booiety on Wednesday evening Jan. 22. "A3 others see us." This is the second of a series of lectures gotten up by the W. and P. C. U. society. The remaining ones will be announced in due time. -On Wednesday, Jan. 15, the only son of Edwin Bogers aged 9 or 10 years, while skating on the sidewalk, feil and struck his head on a hitching post ; it was feared with fatal results. Dr. Watson was called upon and administered to the suffering boy who has so far recovered that he is able to be out.
