A. M., in Jackson last week, froin difèrent portions of the State, Mr. B. F. Vatts of Ann Arbor was elected G. M. st V. of the Grand Chapter of the State of Michigan. - It is a singular coincidonce that Mr. Newton Sheldon, Secretary of the Wash;enaw Mutual Fire Insurance Company, was born upon the same day of the monta and year and in the sane county where the late Calvin Fillmore flrst saw he light of day.
