Sunderland ha9 been invitod by the citizens of Saginaw to roply to Robert Ingersoll, who lectures in Bost Saginaw ou Monday eveningnext. - E. R. Myers, a Detroit architect, has prepared plans and Specifications tor a church that the Baptist society of this oity contémplate erectingon east Hurón street, as soon as the necessary arrangoments can bo made. The building is to be gothic in architecture, and will have 8eating capacityfor 800 persons. - A memorial service for Rev. C. H. Brigham will be held next Sunday morniug at the Unitarian church. Addresses will bo delivered by tha pastor, Rev. J. T. Sunderland, Prosident Angelí, Prof. Pettee, James B. Gott, Ksq. It is expected ex-Gov. Bagley, will be present and speak. In the avening Mr. Sunderland will lectura on the subject: " Who are the Real Iufidels." - The Baptist church society of Manchester calledfora council to investígate charges against thair pastor, Rev. AH. P. Wilson, which were; For obtaining a position in the Baptist denomination as a minister, through falsehood and deceit, (which coverod letters of deposition from the Liutheran CLiurch, and the question of his baptistn by immersion.) The pastor was found guilty of the charge, and the counoil reconiin6ndod that the ohurch withdraw the hand of fellowship, and that he be deposod as a minister. He has been located in SInchester about fifteen months and given general satisffiction as a preachor.
